Guides
Make room. Take care.
Ask questions before moving anything. A listing or a request is the beginning of a conversation.
Dry, suitable, honestly described
Hosts must have permission to offer their space and check their lease, mortgage and insurance conditions. Disclose stairs, damp, flooding history, ventilation, temperature changes and restricted access. Do not advertise a space that is unsafe.
Check the fit
Measure length, width, usable height and every doorway along the route. Our size guide is illustrative, not a fit guarantee. Leave room for access. Confirm heavy items can safely be supported, especially in lofts.
Belongings, not hazards
No illegal or stolen goods, weapons, ammunition, explosives, fuel, flammable liquids, toxic materials, perishables, live animals, waste or cash. Do not store valuables, irreplaceable documents, jewellery or high value collections through the launch service. Battery powered items require the host to agree safe storage conditions. No charging or living in storage spaces.
Insurance is not included
StoreWelly does not currently provide insurance, an item guarantee or compensation cover. Check your own policy and obtain any cover you need before storing belongings. A lock or listing review is not a guarantee of security or suitability.
Agree the practical details
Before any move, agree access times, keys, item inventory with dated photographs, duration, payment terms and notice arrangements in writing. Never share a public access code in a listing. Exact addresses are not published by StoreWelly. Map markers show approximate postcode districts, not individual properties.
