Find the right fit for your belongings
Good storage starts with measurements, clear access and a conversation with the host.
Start with the biggest items
Measure furniture before looking for a space. Note its length, width and height, and whether it can safely be taken apart. Floor area alone does not tell you whether it will fit.
Check the whole route
Check doorways, corridors, stairs and corners as well as the room itself. Ask the host about loading access and agree when belongings can arrive.
Leave room to reach your belongings
Allow an aisle for the things you may need during storage. Protect items appropriately and agree the layout and contents with your host.
